the weekend hovers

Home » Family » the weekend hovers
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
-Romans 15:13

Friday offers one more day of crazy; a morning of racing to piano lessons, grammar exercises, long division skill builders, pages of science reading.

Hovering beyond this final day of the week is the deep exhale of the weekend.

We have happy inbound in-laws, baseball games full of the cutest boys I know, leisurely afternoons of absolutely nothing at all, and a wonderful Sunday morning of worship all ahead of us.

I could cry with joy at the blessing of it all. This week has been a heavy one and in a few hours I will lay my load down, eat pizza with my favorite people in the world, and generally overflow with gratitude.

I hope your weekend is full of the people you love most blessing you with the love God has lavished on us all.
Happy Friday. Let the weekend begin.
