christmas every time

“It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you… yes, it is Christmas every time you smile at your brother and offer him your hand.”
-Mother Teresa

As I look through old Christmas photos, I keep thinking how all the moments all year long empty into this season.

All the cries to God for hope, all the cries of need to one another, all the kind acts, every loving embrace, are all wrapped up in these moments of precious holiday joy.

Christmas is God’s answer to our prayers in so many ways.

At Christmas we make much of the merciful God who loved us enough to come as a baby and meet our greatest need.

Flipping through these photos, I am filled with gratitude because all these precious moments are gifts from Him.

I love Christmas.
